"Driver's landscapes" (2019) - photographic series shot on colour film, at the time past sunset. The work explores the XIX early XX c. notion of the photographer as a conqueror of beautiful, unseen landscapes. Setting in the mindset of a privileged and adventurous explorer, I drive and explore the landscape around the town of my residence. I stop whenever the landscape captures my eye, sneak into unfamiliar little roads, which often lead to dead-ends, somebody's settlements or non-drivable paths. Illuminating them with my car lights, I take pictures and hope for trouble or an adventure to follow.
